Frequently Asked Questions

Process & Timelines
How does the project process work?+
It's a simple 5-step flow: you win the brief → you send us requirements → we build (2–7 days) → you review and request revisions → we deliver the production-ready codebase. You stay in full control of the client relationship throughout.
How long does a typical project take?+
Most projects are delivered in 2–7 business days depending on scope. A 5-page brochure site typically takes 2–3 days. A complex e-commerce build or SaaS product will take 5–7 days. Rush delivery (72 hours) is available for an additional fee.
What's the maximum turnaround you guarantee?+
We guarantee delivery within the agreed timeframe for every project. If we miss a deadline without prior notice, you receive a credit on your next project.
Can I rush a project?+
Yes. A 72-hour rush option is available for an additional £750. This guarantees prioritised delivery with daily progress updates. Rush slots are limited — contact us early to reserve one.
What if I need changes after delivery?+
Unlimited revision rounds are included during the active build phase. Once a project is signed off and delivered, post-delivery changes fall under our standard rates (quoted per request) or a retainer agreement.
What to Provide
What do I need to send in my brief?+
The more detail, the better. Ideally include: project type and goals, target audience, design references (Behance, Dribbble, or competitor sites), your brand guidelines (logo, colours, fonts), all copy and images, and your deadline. We'll follow up with any clarifying questions.
What if I don't have content or copy ready?+
We can start with placeholder content and swap it in later, or we can help source AI-assisted copy as part of a Content Add-on (quoted separately). We recommend having final copy before sign-off to avoid scope creep.
Do I need to provide a design (Figma file)?+
No. Many clients brief us with written descriptions and reference links, and we handle the design in-code. If you have a Figma file, we'll follow it precisely. If not, we'll propose a layout and iterate.
White-Label & Confidentiality
Will you ever contact my clients directly?+
Never. Our delivery is fully invisible. No OpusDevs branding on any deliverable, no contact with your clients, no footprints in the code unless you specifically request attribution.
Do you sign NDAs?+
Yes, on request. We take confidentiality seriously as standard practice regardless — NDAs formalise this for clients who require it. Send your NDA to opusdevs@proton.me and we'll review and return it promptly.
Is our partnership kept confidential?+
Absolutely. We will not disclose that we work with you or name you as a client without written permission. Any testimonials or case studies use only anonymised details unless you explicitly agree otherwise.
Who owns the code?+
You do — fully. Upon final payment, all intellectual property rights in the deliverable transfer to you. We retain no licence to reuse project-specific code or designs.
Pricing & Payment
What are your package prices?+
Our packages start at £1,995 for a 5-page website and go up to £3,995 for an e-commerce build. Custom builds are quoted from £4,995. See the full breakdown on our Pricing page.
What's the payment structure?+
We require a 50% deposit to begin work. The remaining 50% is due on delivery. From your second project onwards, payment terms move to Net 7 from the delivery date.
Do you offer retainers or ongoing support?+
Yes. Monthly retainer agreements are available for agencies that need regular output. These offer priority scheduling, reduced per-project rates, and a dedicated Slack channel. Contact us to discuss.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept bank transfer (BACS), Wise, and PayPal. Invoices are issued in GBP. For international clients, Wise is preferred to minimise transfer fees.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No. We quote a fixed price before work begins and stick to it. The only additions would be scope changes you request mid-project, which are quoted and agreed before we proceed.
Technical
What technologies do you build with?+
We specialise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for front-end, with Node.js, Supabase, and REST/GraphQL APIs for back-end work. We also handle vanilla HTML/CSS/JS, WordPress, and WebGL/Three.js projects.
Which hosting platforms do you support?+
We deliver ready-to-deploy codebases compatible with Vercel, Netlify, AWS, Cloudflare Pages, and traditional VPS/shared hosting. Where requested, we can handle deployment as well.
Will I be able to update the site myself?+
If CMS functionality is included in your package (available from the 8-page tier), yes — we'll integrate a headless CMS (such as Sanity or Contentful) with a clean editing interface. For static builds, updates require code changes.
Is the code clean and well-structured?+
Yes. Every deliverable follows consistent naming conventions, is TypeScript-typed where applicable, and includes a short handover document. Code is written to be maintained and extended — not just to pass a demo.
Do you handle SEO?+
All our builds include technical SEO best practices: semantic HTML, correct heading hierarchy, Open Graph meta tags, sitemap generation, and optimal Lighthouse scores. Content SEO (keyword strategy, copy) is a separate service quoted on request.
If Something Goes Wrong
What if I'm not satisfied with the result?+
We work iteratively with unlimited revisions during the build phase — common feedback loops are built in, not bolted on. If you're genuinely unsatisfied after revisions, contact us and we'll work to resolve it. Our reputation depends on your clients being happy.
What if there's a bug after delivery?+
We offer a 14-day bug-fix warranty on all deliverables. Any fault in the delivered code reported within 14 days is fixed at no charge. Issues arising from third-party integrations or hosting are scoped and quoted separately.
What if I need to cancel a project?+
If you cancel before work begins, the deposit is refunded in full. Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable but any unused portion of scope is credited to a future project within 90 days.
